The Thredz creative department is a Mac based house, running the latest Adobe design software. Our experience allows us to easily handle even the most unique graphic file type, from any platform, and transform it to the type of file the job at hand calls for. Be it low res JPEGs, scanned artwork, or just an idea in your head. We'll get to your solution quickly and will surpass your expectations.

Electronic File Specifications:

• If the file is not created in one of the above art programs, it must be saved as an eps (preferably vector art).
• All fonts must be converted to outlines or included with the file (preferably outlines).
• Send art files with PMS (Pantone(R) Matching System) colors, also know as "spot" colors, assigned to the individual objects that make up the art.
• If sending any type of raster or bitmapped image, art should be sent at expected print size and at a resolution of 150 dpi - 300 dpi for general designs. For four color process designs, art should be sent at expected print size and at a resolution of 300 dpi - 600 dpi.
• If e-mailing an art file, to avoid issues with delivery, please "stuff" or "zip" the file, especially large art files.
• Include purchase order number, name of art file, location, size and imprint colors to avoid any mistakes or unproductive time.

We prefer the best resolution TIF, JPGs or EPS's that can be provided.

We accept art files on Zip Discs, Floppy Discs, CD's, and via email.

If traditional art files (TIF, JPGs or EPS's) can not be provided, we have and can work with the following file types:

• Word
• Powerpoint
• Corel Draw
• Acrobat
• Freehand
• World Wide Web images
• Photographs, digital and hard copy
• Scanned files

Graphic Design Pricing:
Artwork that needs to be produced from scratch will be quoted before work begins at a rate of $75 per hour. Any type of artwork created or added to an existing digital design will have a minimum art charge of $25 per hour. Typesetting will have a minimum art charge of $15. Any design that we print directly from a scan will have a minimum art fee of $15. The page layout applications stated above are the preferred means to creating the formats required by the graphics department but are not the only software for generating the necessary files. Art files delivered in the formats created by these applications or with the specifications listed above are not necessarily exempt from an art charge. These specs are to help reduce art fees to your job(s) to a minimum. To avoid any art fees, the graphics department should be able to PRINT your files without having to do ANY additional work
